About Us

Jason Moore invented the first cut-out template "Green Donkey" in the late 1990's when he saw the need for a much faster and neater way to cut out.
The first prototype was made from wood which worked well so he then went
to see an industrial designer who made one in plastic for him and it
worked great. Several years later Jason showed Cabac his invention and
the product went on to be a huge success.
About five years ago Jason saw the need for a faster way to cut out not
only single but multiple installs, which meant eliminating the gyprock
saw altogether. The Green Donkey hole-saw cutting range was then
developed for both gyprock and tile installations.
The new Green Donkey also has the advantage of allowing your cables to
come out of the wall when marking, whilst retaining the centre viewpoint
on the template itself. We have gone from the plastic injection moulding
process, to CNC machining from a solid piece of clear acrylic for a much
superior finished product.
